I primarily explore photography and collage, with a focus on street photography and sexual intimacy, including nudes. The work delves into themes of rawness and grotesque, inspired by sexuality, gender fluidity, pubic hair, and bodily fluids. I am fascinated by the primal nature of these elements and their ability to evoke emotive responses. In my artistic practice, I fuse personal intimate nudes with the textures found in urban landscapes, creating emotive collages that evoke both similar and contradictory feelings. Through this juxtaposition, I aim to convey the diverse range of human emotions.
Photography became my salvation during high school, allowing me to document my life and counteract the distortions caused by trauma and depression. It provides me with a tangible record of my experiences, reminding me of the beauty that exists.
While photography and collage form the foundation of my artistic expression, I am also eager to explore the realms of video, sound and performance art, which I aspire to explore further. For me, art is a means of unapologetically embracing my true self, transcending the need for validation from others.
Ultimately, my art is deeply personal and spiritual.
